Update on the Flooding in Malawi

A huge thank you to everyone that donated to help the families affected by the devastating flooding. Below are a few words from our President.

“The response to the appeal for Storm Relief from our MCV supporters has been impressive and heartwarming.  To date we have received almost $19,000 designated to address the needs of families caring for orphans who were impacted by the storm.  These funds enabled MCV to provide emergency relief in the form of food, clothing, household items, and building supplies to families who live on the edge, and who suddenly found their home and meager possessions washed away.  In a country with no home insurance, social security, or food pantries, most people in Malawi live on the edge. On behalf of these families, and MCV, I would like to thank our many donors who were so generous in helping people in desperate need of help, and most of all – hope.  Your entire gift went directly to help a family in need.  Bless you!”  -James Miller
