Staff

Malawi Children’s Village has always been a Malawian run program.  Below are listed just a few of the many MCV staff that have helped make this organization a success. We plan to improve these existing profiles & pictures and add profiles of other staff as soon as possible. Please check back soon for updates.

Chakunja Sibale, Executive Director

Malawi Children's Village co-founder Sibale has been the director since day one. Formerly a clinical officer working in Mangochi's hospital, Sibale still helps out in the clinic from time to time aside from his duties overseeing all aspects of the MCV program.

Felix Chirombo, Administrator

Felix is in charge of all aspects of MCV administration and oversees a wide range of projects.

Faith Sibale, Nurse

Faith was MCV's second employee after her husband Chakunja Sibale, and she has been involved with the program since the beginning. While Faith has held a variety of responsibilities over the years, her cheif responsibility is in the clinic, where she serves as MCV's nurse.

Catherine Shebani, Bednet Coordinator

Catherine is in charge of the bednet program at MCV, and the program has achieved tremendous success due to her efforts. Catherine visits households caring for orphans in the villages regularly to distribute bednets, and to ensure that existing bednets are being used properly.
